Kate along with several of Prince William's friends are sitting on the Roller Disco organizing board. For Kate, it may be a chance to repay a favor to friend Sam Waley-Cohen. The money being raised is being donated in part to fund Tom's Ward at an area hospital. The ward is to be built in honor of Sam's brother Tom who suffered from a rare bone disease for ten years. Kate was no doubt willing to help out given that it was at a party thrown by Sam, son of the racehorse breeder and trainer Robert Waley-Cohen, that she and Prince William were reunited after their split in April 2007.

Prince Harry’s girlfriend joined thousands of revellers at the Notting Hill Carnival yesterday. Blonde Chelsy Davy, 22, and her pals got into the swing of Europe’s biggest street party as they danced behind a calypso music float. The streets of the West London district thundered to the sound of steel bands as masquerade floats snaked their way through the packed streets.

Prince Harry has vowed to tame his party lifestyle and promised there will be no more photographs of him falling out of nightclubs. Harry, 23, who has been a regular fixture on the party scene, has even pledged to limit the amount of time he spends at his favourite nightclub, Boujis in West London. He had a series of frank discussions with his grandfather, Prince Philip, before leaving for Africa, where he worked earlier this year on charity projects with fellow soldiers from the Household Cavalry.

The Queen is becoming increasingly concerned that Prince William’s girlfriend Kate Middleton still does not have a job. And senior Buckingham Palace aides say that what is now referred to in the Royal inner-circle as the Kate Problem should be resolved before William announces his engagement to her. The Sovereign’s private concern about Kate’s lack of a career was first reported in The Mail on Sunday in June. She has already been nicknamed Waity Katie because of her apparent willingness to do nothing but socialise and shop until William decides when to propose.
